Caye & Mike were wed at Orlean United Methodist Church in Virginia. The church is very old and small, and Caye has been a member since she was born. The Pastor told me they hadn’t had a wedding there in over 5 years, so I feel extra lucky to have been a part of that.

It poured most of the day because Hurricane Hannah came through. More than 23,000 residents of Virginia lost power before I even got there.

The reception was outside under tents. The parking lot was mud. There was a tractor on standby.

It stopped raining and blowing for a little bit and the kids pet the horses. This is probably my favorite picture from that set. She had no idea I took it.

After that, the dogs came out for a family picture. This dog REALLY wanted some cake (look in the bottom-right corner).
