Ruth & Steven

Ruth & Steven had a gorgeous ceremony at Crossroads Community Church in Mechanicsburg, PA. The day started at Angie’s New Angles Hair Salon, where I saw Ruth for the first time ever.
I photographed Ruth slipping into her stunning dress (which she swears was only $200!) and then headed over to the church to meet Steven.
The ceremony started with a slideshow of childhood photos.
After the slideshow ended, I witnessed a beautiful and deeply religious ceremony that brought a lot of people to tears.
Remember the “church kiss” described in The Wedding Singer? This was it.
I’ve decided that this is one of my favorite wedding pictures, ever, for many reasons. I’d like to hear what you think about it:
After the guests left, we went back inside for formals. I asked for the screen to be lifted, and found this neat brick wall. I love the rustic style of the church and hope to have a lot more weddings there.
We hurried to the campus at Dickinson College in Carlisle for a few quick snaps.
The “fairy tale” reception was held at Hotel Carlisle. Every detail fit the theme perfectly.
Congratulations, Ruth & Steven!
