I drove down to Charlotte a couple days ago for personal business and made a few quick stops:
The Silver Phoenix Indian Trading Post
The giant teepee made me brake, but the totem poles were my favorite part. They also have an ice cream stand outside with a plastic cone on top and a sign that says, “Custard’s Last Stand.” Heehee.

I found this place online and had to stop and see the King Kong sculpture. I didn’t have time to stop and eat,but hopefully will someday.

Also on the agenda were the gravestones of Chang and Eng, and the Hilton twins. Unfortunately, the timing was off and it was dark when I would have been looking for the gravestones. Maybe next time…
